About Me
Raised in Vermont, Elliot Cockayne was driven from afar by his passion for movies and television to pursue a career in visual storytelling. Cockayne studied Film Production and Screenwriting at Emerson College and the University of Leeds before earning his Creative Writing degree with a minor in Film & TV Studies from the University of Vermont in 2021. Towards the end of his tenure at UVM, he established Winter Sun Films, an independent creative venture through which he further honed his practical film production skills. Residing in Los Angeles since 2024, he has freelanced as a production assistant on numerous commercial and music video sets featuring notable artists such as Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan, PARTYOF2, and clients such as Nike, Chipotle, Chevy, HGTV, Lifetime, etc.
